The complete range of VERTEX Triaxial Cells have their top and base assemblies machined from dur-aluminum or non corrosive alloy. The upper assembly, with a seamless acrylic tube, is clamped to the base by quick action studs. The stainless steel loading ram passes through linear bearing, and a seal making the transfer bar 100% leak proof.

Suitable for lateral pressure up to 1000 kpa, the cell has four take off positions drilled in the base for cell pressure, pore water pressure, and for top and bottom drainage.

Fitted with 4 no-volume change valves and one dead end plug. Cell is supplied complete with one loading pad, two porous stones, one sheath stretcher, one split sand former, 10 latex rubber sheaths and four sealing rings for 38/50 mm dia samples.
